    Introducing a new email editor, custom email templates, additional ways to segment your audience, and much more.

    We had a productive April here at Movalio. We’re pleased to announce a handful of new features and updates for our platform.

    A new and improved email editor

    Our platform now features a much better WYSISWYG email editor. You can now simply drag and drop various design elements in order to compose complex email layouts.

    With the new email editor, you can also customize how your email looks on mobile devices.

    You can now save any email as a template and easily reuse it later. Look for the template options in the more menu.

    Embeddable signup forms

    In addition to our popup option, you can now also create embeddable email signup forms.

    And you can still use the same simple form builder to add as many fields and collect data as needed.

    Speaking of form fields, we’ve also added the option to automatically attach a tag to the subscriber profile with the title/URL of the host page.

    When available the reason for the soft bounce (like MailboxFull, ContentRejected, etc) will also appear in the Activity Log.

    More ways to segment your audience

    We’ve added 2 new condition types for segment creation.

    • Platform - use it to target specific browsers or devices
    • Campaign - use it to target subscribers that did or didn’t perform a specific campaign activity

    Import subscribers from CSV files

    Import subscribers from CSV file

    Starting with April’s release you can import subscribers from CSV files. Simply upload the CSV file and map columns to tags as needed.

    Find the import option under the Subscribers section more menu.

    You can now add or edit subscriber tags. Click the tag you want to change in the right sidebar of the subscriber profile page.

    We’ve added the ability to invite additional members so you can share an account with your team.

    Please note that at this moment only members with an administrator role (full permissions) can be added. Future releases will allow more roles and the ability to set permissions on a more granular level.

    New attribution models for campaign performance

    Campaign performance monitoring got more flexible to adjust your needs. You can now choose a different attribution model for each website or application. Choose one of the following options:

    • Last interaction - the campaign with the last interaction gets 100% of the credit
    • First interaction - the campaign with the first interaction gets 100% of the credit
    • Linear - split interactions - the credit is equally split among the campaigns
    • All interactions - each campaign gets 100% of the credit

    We are planning to add more attribution models in the near future.

    Other updates

    • Movalio SDK got a major version update (v2) that includes:
      • Firebase SDK upgrade to version 8.3.3
      • Support for multi-channel subscribers
    • Various bug fixes, design and usability improvements
    • A few performance and stability improvements
